GAS CHROMATOGRAPHY

Gas chromatography, also known as GC, is a chromatographic method used for analytical purposes. It is an analytical chemistry technique, which is based on the distribution of the components of a mixture to be analysed between a stationary phase and a gaseous mobile phase, depending on the different affinities of each substance in the mixture with the phases.

OUR laboratory

To complete the agronomic and phytopathological services, Canvasalus has a laboratory that currently enables to carry out qualitative (Thin Layer Chromatography, TLC) and quantitative analyses, based on gas chromatography (FID) that allow to monitor numerous cannabinoids and most terpenes.

ANALYSIS OF CANNABIS LIGHT

With the boom in light cannabis, many farmers decided to invest in it without the necessary experience, often concluding the production with a product of low quality and free of cannabinoids. Light cannabis, which is nothing more than a cannabis with extremely low THC, must be produced using appropriate techniques and controls at all stages of cultivation.
One of these is certainly to constantly analyze the cannabinoids present in the plant, which should be checked several times during cultivation in order to constantly know the quality and type of product we are cultivating

WHY LET US TEST YOUR HEMP?

CONTROLS ITS QUALITY

Getting a high quality flower is the main goal of any cannabis grower. It can be checked in detail and at any stage of cultivation by analysing the quantity and quality of cannabinoids present in the plant, such as CBD and CBG. The higher they are, the more value your product will take on.

Control its legality

In Italy, where real cannabis is not legal, in order to produce and sell cannabis light, the THC of its products must be kept below 0.5%. If this obligation is not met, there may be serious consequences, such as sanctions, the seizure of material or even imprisonment in some cases. Thanks to our analysis service you can feel at ease and know at every stage of cultivation the amount of THC present in your plants.

YOU SAVE CONSIDERABLY

Ours is a small laboratory in expansion, so we offer competitive and tailor-made prices based on the quantity of samples to be analyzed, offering a high quality service.

FREQUENT QUESTIONS

The most frequent questions and answers

WHAT CAN YOU ANALYZE?

We can analyze any vegetable material, consequently any part derived from the plant (even in full cultivation) can be subject to analysis to ascertain its quality and legality. Our equipment requires a minimum part of the material to be able to analyze it accurately (in the order of mg)

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKES?

Since we receive the samples, the analysis will be carried out within a few days and you will receive the results of it directly via email or via the communication medium you have chosen.

How can I get you the samples?

We are well inclined to accept your samples directly in our laboratory based in Monselice. If this is not possible, you can get them through any national shipping service.

Why is the service so cheap?

Ours is a small expanding laboratory, but this does not mean that we do not guarantee a high quality service; in fact, our technicians have long experience in chemical analysis laboratories. This allows us to offer the service at competitive prices compared to other laboratories.
